HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is the latest iteration of the nationally accredited CPR course and is the leading CPR refresher course. It supersedes the old HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
This is a concise life-saving course focusing on the key tenets of providing CPR (including DRSABCD protocol and safe and effective defibrillation (AED) use) in line with key recommendations from the following Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines:

ANZCOR Guideline 4 – Airway
ANZCOR Guideline 5 – Breathing
ANZCOR Guideline 6 – Compressions

| Mode of Delivery: | The following units will be included in your certificate: HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).This course, CPR can be conducted in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.Sydney ABC First Aid is partnered with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) which will issue a nationally recognised CPR, First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and First Aid in ESI Environment certificate. |
| Duration: | Pre-online Theory and multiple choice with face-to-face Practical CPR assessment. |
| Assessment: | Participants must have the physical capacity to complete the practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the ground. Pre-course study: Learners may be required to go through online pre-course task before joining our face to face CPR class.Online study: Learners need online access to complete their pre-course task. |

Our HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation ( CPR) (prev. HLTAID001) is a nationally accredited and we will provide all participants with your annual CPR refresher qualification to be confident in providing CPR and use an AED in their workplace and any other required sitiuations.
Our course is hands on with many practical and real life senarios.
We are providing our CPR and First Aid training in Kogarah, Rockdale, Carlton, Allawah, Bankstown, Lakemba, Hurstville and Blacktown.
