Course Title: Provide First Aid
Mode of Delivery: The following units will be included in your certificate:
HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
Duration: 2 Hrs: Pre-online theory and multiple choice and 1 Hrs: Practical assessment with face-to-face First Aid Class.
Assessment: Participants must have the physical capacity to complete the practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the ground. Pre-course study: Learners may be required to go through online pre-course task before joining our face to face First Aid class.Online study: Learners need online access to complete their pre-course task.
Age Requirement: 13+
Certificate Validity: CPR Certificate will require renewal after 12 months.First Aid Certificate will require renewal after 36 months. Sydney ABC First Aid is partnered with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909)

HLTAID011 First Aid Course Content
Our HLTAID011 First Aid Provide First Aid Course (prev. HLTAID003) is a nationally recognised and we will provide all participants a qualification to be a First Aider at their workplace and any other required situations.
Our course is hands on with many practical and real life scenarios.
From this Course we will learn skills, scope and knowledge to recognize emergencies and provide immediate and effective first aid treatment to a person suffering an unexpected illness or injury with the guidelines of the Australian Resuscitation Council and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
Evidence required to demonstrate competence in this unit must be relevant to and satisfy all of the requirements of the elements and performance criteria on one occasion and include:
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR & Defibrillator)
- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- Fractures and dislocations
- Burns and scalds
- Head, chest and spinal injuries
- Fainting and unconsciousness
- Bandaging techniques
- Chocking
- Asthma & Anaphylaxis
- Poisoning, bites, stings, and much more!
