Welcome to Sydney ABC First Aid (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website https://sydneyabcfirstaid.com.au, your enrolment in any training courses, and your interactions with Sydney ABC First Aid as a student, website visitor, or purchaser.

By accessing our website or booking a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or enrol.

• Client, you, your: The person enrolling or visiting the website.
• Course: Any first aid, CPR, childcare, anaphylaxis, asthma, or related training offered.
• Booking: Your registration for a course through our website or other approved method.
• Fee: The cost payable to enrol in a course.
• RTO Partner: The Registered Training Organisation responsible for issuing nationally recognised certificates.

Sydney ABC First Aid delivers nationally recognised training on behalf of a partner RTO.

The issuing RTO for nationally recognised units (e.g., HLTAID011, HLTAID012, HLTAID009) will be:

Qualification Issuance: Statements of Attainment are issued by the partner RTO.

Our Role: We provide training and assessment under a formal third-party service agreement.

We comply with the Standards for RTOs 2015, including transparency, student support, and complaint handling.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to training delivered with due care and skill, training that matches the description provided, and remedies (refunds, rebooking, or compensation) if services fail to meet consumer guarantees. Where a failure is major, you are entitled to a refund or compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.

We may update, suspend, or restrict website access at any time without notice.

• Use the website lawfully.
• Do not interfere with its operation.
• Do not copy or misuse course materials or content.
• Provide accurate information when booking.

• Booking is confirmed only after full payment is received.
• Ensure all personal details are correct.
• Prices are listed in AUD and may change without notice.
• Invoices/receipts are automatically issued via email.
• Misleading or fraudulent bookings may be cancelled.

We may refuse participation if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.

• Arrive on time and participate fully.
• Provide valid photo identification.
• Complete any required pre-course work.
• Follow trainer instructions and safety requirements.
• Notify us of any medical or learning needs.

Certificates are issued by the partnering RTO (not Sydney ABC First Aid directly). Failure to meet assessment requirements may result in non-issuance of a certificate.

• Attend the required training duration.
• Successfully complete all theory and practical assessments.
• Provide a USI (Unique Student Identifier).

We provide access to trainers for support, reasonable adjustment where appropriate, and fair assessment processes.

Students may lodge complaints about services or appeals regarding assessment decisions. A formal process will be provided and complaints may also be referred to the partner RTO and ASQA if unresolved.

All website content, training materials, graphics, videos, and text are owned or licensed by Sydney ABC First Aid or its RTO partner. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or sell any content without written permission.

We collect, store, and use your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We collect information for course administration, issuing certificates, RTO reporting obligations, and regulatory compliance. We do not sell personal data. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost income). Our liability is limited to providing remedies required under ACL, and we do not guarantee employment outcomes. Nothing in this section overrides ACL protections.

First aid training includes physical activity (e.g., CPR on manikins, recovery positions, simulated emergency scenarios). You acknowledge that participation carries inherent risks and agree to take reasonable care for your own safety. If you have medical conditions affecting participation, inform your trainer.

The website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Use them at your own risk.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. All parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
